Overdraft Protection Options

Never worry about the embarrassment of bouncing a check or overdrawing funds again. Enjoy overdraft protection with your ECCU checking account. If there are not enough funds in your checking account, we will pull funds automatically from your savings to cover the amount of the purchase.

ECCU checking accounts can be set up for optional overdraft protection. We provide overdraft protection through a pre-established credit line for qualified members. If you write a check exceeding your checking balance, that amount will automatically be transferred from your line-of-credit, setting up an instant loan (up to your approved limit). OOPS protects you from costly overdraft and returned check fees.

Notary/Signature Guarantee Options

We offer notary services at all branch locations. This service is free, but you must appear in person to have your document notarized. A notary public is a public officer with certification; notaries attest and authenticate, under an official seal, the signature of an individual. Notaries are not responsible for certifying the validity of any document.

We offer signature guarantee services at our Springfield and Ozark branches. This service is $10.  You must schedule a time and bring identification. Signature guarantees are sometimes required for the transfer of securities.
